Since 1985, STARS Air Ambulance has completed over 63,000 missions in Western Canada—1,540 last year in Alberta alone—bringing ICU-level care directly to patients when they need it most…because where you live, work, play or travel shouldn’t impact your chance of survival in times of crisis.
It costs approximately $12.2 Million per year to run just one of the 6 STARS bases, and fundraising covers nearly half of this total cost. Help fund more life-saving missions on Tuesday, April 7th with STARS Critical Care On The Air Day on 96.3 The Breeze. From 6:00am – 6:00pm, we’ll be featuring stories from the Pilots and the people they’ve helped, and of course, we’ll be looking for your donations.
